Hazel Mitchell is the Medical Secretary at the Practice and has been with the Practice 30 years. Her knowledge of pathways and referrals is exemplary. Hazel works 25 hours per week Mon- Thurs.
Angie from our reception team works as a secretary on a Friday and helps on a Monday afternoon to ensure all targets are met.
The secretaries on average will turn around a referral after receiving it from the GP in 24-48 hours, with the exception of urgent referrals which will be done as soon as possible.
All referrals will be sent via E-Referral after being checked by the GP and a patient will receive a text or phone call to advise the paper work is ready for collection.
